We produced an explainer video that presents Porsche Bank AG’s USPs. Benedikt Berger, Marketing & Digital Business Manager at Porsche Bank AG, relates their experiences with the explainer video in an interview.
Porsche Bank is the market leader for car leasing and financing in Austria. To maintain our position in a fiercely competitive and constantly changing market, we want to give existing and new customers crystal clear reasons why we should be their partner of choice. The explainer video we created with youknow shows these USPs.
We looked for specialists in the field of explainer videos in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Since a colleague had already done a project with youknow and was very satisfied with the result, we decided to use this provider.
We chose animade because animation was ideal for our topic and suited our budget.
We use the explainer video for both internal and external communication. We show it at our trading partners’ show rooms and point of sale, and it’s on our company’s VW, SEAT and ŠKODA social network channels (YouTube, Instagram and Facebook). We also use the video for internal training and other events.
What did you expect in terms of performance?
Basically, we wanted the video to communicate a rather dry topic in a vivid and appealing way. Our goal was to reach as many undecided prospects as possible and urge them to choose PBV as a reliable partner. The explainer video is also intended to help Sales staff in talks with customers. In order to broaden our reach to as many customers and sales staff as possible, we posted the explainer video on various channels and platforms.
How did the video actually perform?
Expectations in terms of performance were met fully with dealers and at sales training sessions. Feedback was very positive because we succeeded in communicating a dry topic in a vivid and appealing way.
